Jesus was answering questions from the Sadducees, who did not believe in the resurrection of the dead, and they were trying to trap Jesus into confirming their beliefs. Jesus not only confirmed that we all would be resurrected from the dead, but He gave us some information about our existence in heaven. We will not be married in heaven, as we will be like the angels are. This tells us that we will not reproduce, and that the angels do not have baby angels, in heaven.

People that are having bad marriages here on earth, will be happy to learn that it is only temporary, as they will not be married in heaven. These verses are very interesting, as they give us a glimpse into what life will be like after Jesus comes again, and we get our new spiritual bodies. It is also such a positive confirmation that we all will be raised up from the dead, and that we all will live forever, either in heaven or hell. I believe I would rather live with Jesus in heaven, then the devil in hell, so I thank God for His grace and salvation. Thank you Jesus for saving me.
